Directions

From Auckland City: take the North Western Motorway and State Highway 16, following the signs to Helensville. Turn left at the Helensville/Parakai roundabout, following the signs to South Head. Approx travel time one hour.

From the North: turn right at Wellsford onto State Highway 16 and follow the signs to Helensville. Continue through Helensville to the large roundabout. Proceed straight ahead through the roundabout, following the signs to South Head. Approx one hour from Wellsford.

From the East (Orewa, Whangaparaoa): take State Highway 1 towards Auckland. Cross the Northern Motorway then turn right into Pine Valley Road. At the end of Pine Valley Road, turn right into Kahikatea Flat Road. At the Kaukapakapa Stone turn left onto State Highway 16 and continue to Helensville. Continue through Helensville to the large roundabout. Proceed straight ahead through the roundabout, following the signs to South Head. Approx 45 minutes from Orewa.
